INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING 

When workers lack needed training and businesses experience skill gaps, the company's ability to compete, expand and retain workers can be compromised. The South Central Workforce Council's (SCWDC) Incumbent Worker Training Program addresses such needs.

The SCWDC is interested in Training Applications to fund a variety of Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) projects throughout Kittitas, Yakima, Klickitat and Skamania Counties. The Council has allocates training funds every July 1st through June 30th throughout the four county region.

Applications will be reviewed and awarded on an on-going basis, and responded to within 30 days of submission. Multiple applications from the same company or consortia of companies will be considered, as long as each application addresses a training need in different counties. Employers can only be awarded once during the procurement cycle (July 1 - June 30).
